Toad in the Hole

- Goodlife Mighty Not Meaty Sausages
- 140g Plain Flour
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 Free Range Eggs
- 175ml Semi-Skimmed Milk
Serving Suggestion: Perfect served with gravy and peas.
- Preheat oven to 220ºC/200ºC Fan/Gas mark 7.
- To make your batter add 140g plain flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt, make a well in the centre and crack 2 eggs into the well. Using a whisk, mix the batter together, add 175ml semi-skimmed milk, whisking all the time to remove any lumps. Leave the batter to stand in the fridge while preparing your roasting tray.
- Put 1 tbsp oil into the base of your roasting tray, add the 6 Goodlife Mighty Not Meaty Sausages, evenly spaced. Cook for 10 minutes. Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven and pour the batter into the tray. Place the tray on the top shelf of the oven and cook for 25 – 30 minutes until the batter is risen and golden brown. All ovens vary, so just make sure the sausages are piping hot before serving.
