Goodlife is featured in Cook Vegetarian
Having just turned 21 last month, award-winning meat-free food company Goodlife is celebrating with a brand new look and ambitious plans for the next 21 years and beyond! Goodlife has a large focus on sustainability and has made some radical changes to the company as part of its birthday celebrations. “All our products are made as naturally as possible” states marketing manager Nia Williams, “however we wanted to make our products good for the planet as well as being good for you”.
Goodlife also continues to support The World Land Trust with its rainforest conservation project in Brazil. Goodlife saved over 114 acres of rainforest during 2009 by donating 1p per pack to the cause from its products. Summer 2010 sees the launch of four new products nationwide through Asda, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, which will increase the support for the World Land Trust and continue the good work the company is doing to conserve these endangered forests and protect wildlife.
Green News
We have been shortlisted by Food Northwest Awards for the Green Business Award for all our initiatives in 2010 so far.
These include saving 114 acres of rainforest with the World Land Trust, investing in new packing equipment to make our Goodlife packaging 100% recyclable and taking 90tonne of packaging a year from landfill.
We have also invested in LED lighting to save 53 tonnes of carbon each year and have started a lean manufacturing project which enables oil to be recycled as a bio fuel and also saved water consumption by 80% over the weekends.
Celebrating 21 years of great vegetarian food

To celebrate our 21st birthday we have been working with our design agency - Entyce Creative to create our fun new brand image. As well as our great new website, we have completely re-designed our packaging so make sure you look out for our mouth-watering meals on the supermarket shelves near you.
